Insurance Claim Process

The insurance claim process can be daunting. XYZ Restorations, LLC can walk you through the process.

The Insurance Process

If your property has recently experienced storm damage, call us immediately and we will PERFORM A COMPLETE INSPECTION OF YOUR PROPERTY and take care of your emergency repairs.

We understand the urgency of repairing your property after a major storm and have a crew ready to serve you.

1. Inspection

A member of our qualified Insurance Claim team will arrive at your property and will thoroughly inspect your property. If damage is found, we will provide you a detailed report that you can use to contact your Insurance Company. For a list of Insurance Claim phone numbers of insurance companies, please visit our Insurance Claims Resource page.

2. Adjuster Meeting

After we discuss the findings of our inspection with you, we will meet with your insurance adjuster to determine all other aspects. In most cases, all you pay out-of-pocket is your deductible. Most discrepancies occur when the adjuster has not assessed the same extent of damage as the contractor. Whether it’s the roof, gutters, siding, or other exterior damage, we work with the adjuster to finalize the cost of the repairs and getting your claim approved and paid.

XYZ Restorations, LLC will work closely with you and your insurance representative to steamline the process and get your property renovated as quickly as possible.

3. Insurance Payment

After your insurance adjuster assesses your damage, you should receive the first insurance payment check approximately 10 days later. This check represents the actual cost to repair or replace the damaged property, less depreciation and your deductible. The age and condition of the property is taken into account when calculating depreciation. The depreciation amount will be paid when work is completed and an invoice is sent to your insurance company.
